Default theres life in my RS lib, like me at 66yrs

I was lucky I never grew up,
met my first RS in 1993
    but motor wise;
in the process of completing a 2.35 donk full of new goodies, looking f0r at least 700at the wheels,
while the existing motor a 2.5 will be refurnished inclusive of 14mm head studs in the block.

long live the RS and those who drive them...

Geez. So spun bearing = oil starvation? Dry sump time?

Still, a wicked effort and it must’ve been an absolute thrill.

Spun bearing sucks. Power wise you are off the chart for EJ world.

dry sump, I know where's there 2 doing nothing waiting on builds to be completed both will run well over a 1,000hp
but I don't have that sought of money...
with another motor on the way some changes will be made to make more power and response
but its been a expensive learning kerb, but the art of building tough motors where every small details matter..
thank Christ I have Justin to direct operations
ps Justin did not build the damaged motor..

ah nice one with the results, although it being short lived. i know the pain having recently had an engine out and fully split 3 times in 3 months recently.

my 2.35 donk is back where it belongs, currently in the process of running the girl in, before it goes on the dyno for a hard sprint.
have to thank Justin for building the motor, his very meticulous.
getting more parts to build a closed deck ej25 short motor, just in case I need as motor in hurry
will take it to the drags for run, usually get kick out for going to quick, as it has no roll cage or shute
then Racewars 2020 in early March
hope to run the 1,000m sprint, in 2019 I only managed 271kph over only 800m, before spinning a bearing, also overhauled the 6 speed gearbox
it works a treat now, used motul gearbox oil

Good news. Fingers crossed the 2.5 sits around unused for a long while.
