    Anyone still around ?! i know about facebook page etc but don't use it ... just seeing if anyone still passes by ?

    Do you have a bad case of the green eyed monster? Or do you play it cool?
    You just got dusted by a maroon Rsliberty what do you do?
    1. Turn off at the next side street?
    2. Try to catch up and try again at the next set of lights?
    3. Give the wave and admit defeat?

    Yeah there is HEAPS of technical data here. I unfortunately let my car sit for about 2-3 years in the garage without starting her etc so now have the task of trying to get it running again, fuel went off, water got into the clutch slave and master cylinders and ruined them (already sleeved and rebuilt) the coolant crystallised and went hard, semi slicks are too old now and will need to be replaced and that is just what i can see for now.

    Already put a new fuel pump in, brand new fuel filter, i think the Sard FPR will need to be replaced, injectors were stuck closed so i took them out and got them working again.
    Flushed the radiator and engine whilst thermostat was out although i will need to do it again when the car is running.
    Brakes are next but looking at the reservoir it looks like it will need to be rebuilt as well

    Looking at trying to get it started tomorrow after i flush and replace brake fluids and see if i need to get brake master cylinder rebuilt.

    Long term plans are once i get it going again i will finish putting all the parts i never fitted and then i will do a full engine build as the internals of the motor is pretty much the only thing that is stock lol...

    Lesson learnt... never let a car sit there too long without starting/driving it.

    just finished running in a new RCM EJ22 Stroker and prepping the new bodyshell to accept this beast of an engine

    I'm in the same boat. Haven't started mine in a couple of years. Went start it the other week and it would crank and not start. After peddling it for a bit it would try to start but no luck. Its been so long I don't remember where to start diagnosing the issue.

    good to hear someone is out doing mods, wat results did it make...
    at the moment with not optimum tubes, old IC, running out of fuel pump and on 98 pump gas 460 hp. but it was built as a response engine, not max power...max torque from 4000-6000, max power from 6000-7000, feels like a super motard
