That’s a good idea flash! You think some authentic road kill Roos would be acceptable? Plenty of that around here

It’s something to aspire to, this wasn’t my creation, I was lucky enough to catch up with the owner to get some pics with my brumby in the foreground.

I’m thinking I could make a ramp platform that can be used for maintenance, and then for a display like this at Christmas by having the platform lift up the ramps to a similar angle. Pipe dreams. I’d also miss driving my brumby over the festive season as it’s almost a rare occurrence now since we typically move around with our family in tow...

Hope everyone ate too much and had a good time over the last few days! I’m off to split wood with our home made Subaru powered log splitter ;)

    Cheers

Nah it’s barely 18 deg at M&D’s in the Macedon Ranges. Perfect weather for sorting out wood for winter. It’s all green so I’m hoping our hot summer that’s coming will dry it out good and proper in time for late autumn use.

I’d use them too if they were around here. We always collect and burn them when we’re touring around the Mallee county. An awesome wood to burn when camping!

Painful thing happened on the way home, trailer got defected. Had to flat bed it from benders to home about halfa further up the road. We’d already done about an hour’s drive at that point... apparently a few things changed since our trailer was on the road and while the hydraulic system worked, it didn’t actuate the brakes properly. Then the nit-picking went from there. This may have killed the trailer. Can’t complain, it’s over 40 years old But it leaves us in a bind without a car trailer now

Happy New Year and all the best to all in 2022!

    Cheers

You didn't by chance get pulled over in Kangaroo Flat near the APCO did you? I drove past a 4wd pulled over with a trailer on. Think it was a white or silver 4x4. Didn't look that hard. Black HWP SUV.

Nah got done while parked near Aldi on Lockwood road. Mrs El Freddo was grabbing some supplies while I waited within little ones. BMW station wagon in the heavy vehicle department drove past and hooked a U turn because I had wood above the sides of the trailer and it wasn’t tied down/covered. It went down hill from there for the trailer.

    Are You Jealous?
Do you have a bad case of the green eyed monster? Or do you play it cool?
You just got dusted by a maroon Rsliberty what do you do?
    1. Turn off at the next side street?
    2. Try to catch up and try again at the next set of lights?
    3. Give the wave and admit defeat?
