    Default 2.2l 244.8 KW ATW

Well after a bloody long time and a lot of "im gunna do this and that's" I have finally collected all my bits and all of a sudden a process that has taken months and months has spead up very quickly.

So to break it down Jonny Came round wed to help me assemble the short block, So naturally that didnt happen we did the short and kep going sooner than you would think heads were on and it was looking good. So after about 5 hours and way to much chit chat i ended up with a long block.

Then after last night efforts i added all the nitty gritty bits.

Now basicly all i have to do tonight so its in the car tomorrow is the Timing belt, flywheel and clutch.

Heres some pics as im not much of a typer. pics are way better anyway. :-)

So this is what it looked like

This is what you need when pistons dont seems to want to go in.

and this is what i have going atm. :-) I think she looks good!

    Cheers

More details for build please mate. What heads? Stock headers? Under manifold entry planned? ECU?

Looking good with the engine assembly. Certainly fairly nerve racking when you go to start the engine for the first time, but you'll be right!!

Nerve racking starting...... Nerve racking building. Hope its all right! When i start it i might get someone else to do it I will be to affraid.

    The engine block:

    2.2 Open deck
    Wiseco Pistons
    RS crank
    Eagle rods
    ARP head studs
    Acl Race Bearings

GTB Heads(same as v3 apart from the bucket setup)
    TD06 20G

    800cc Sards(overkill)
    Power FC with Z32

Im using stock headers and upipe wrapped and i was thinking under intake but getting the bits togther is hard and also costly and atm i would just like to see how i go without getting that as im not sure how much differance it will make.

I don't think it'll be me you're fending off if you try to "borrow" the 2.5. Pretty sure you can work out who it'll be

Edit: I also have a spare full replacement ecu you can have but seeing as you have the PFC you won't be needing that

That being said does that mean that the person in question is interested in borrowing for the Nat meet?

Simo, fk off the PFC and go with this option...
which one is it though?? MoTeC, Hydra, ViPec?

Also, is it a good idea to drop in smaller injectors while you're running it in for possible better idle and low rpm/ load use, ease of tuning, etc?
or not an issue with programmable management and proepr fuel pressure?
