Thumbs up Tris' Gen 1 Legacy

    Hi all,

For some reason my first post didn't work so gonna give it another go.

This is my 1990 Gen 1 Legacy. Car was Imported from Japan in pretty rough condition, previous owners have put a lot of time, money and effort into fixing and improving it.

Here's a list of current mods:

DRIVELINE: 5 speed gearbox with rear VLSD.

EXHAUST: 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Hi-Flow Cat-Converter, 2.5" straight through rear muffler (quiet). Stainless Turbo up pipe.

INTAKE: 600x300x76 Inverted FMIC and cold air intake.

IGNTION: Bosch Coil Conversion with Magnecor Leads.

FUEL: 440CC Injectors,Parallel Fuel Rail Setup, SARD Rising Rate FPR and Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump.

SUSPENSION: BCC Height and Camber adjustable coilovers,Whiteline rear and front sway bar.

    BRAKES: DBA Slotted/Cross-drilled Rotors.

    WHEELS: 18x8.75+38 XXR 527 White.

    SEATS: GC8 WRX Seats

SECURITY: 3-point immobilizer with siren, windows tinted.

AUDIO: Pioneer Head Unit 4x Focal PS165V 6.5" with 2x Tweeters.

    BATTERY: Braille no-weight sports battery.

OTHER: Genuine factory roof rails, chrome rear bumper garnish and original GT body kit.

I bought the car with 175,000KM pretty stock looking:

Added some new rims and coil overs, also blew a head gasket so fixed that $$$ :,( :

At the Subaru Owners of Tasmania meet (Libs and Leggies are a rare bread here)

Cheers Only when taking a corner hard, and it's only a little bit. General driving is fine. I'm looking into rolling the guards more though to avoid scrub altogether.

Cool, I have an aus delivered rs wagon that I'm slowly prepping to fit full bug sti running gear into, parted out a bug sti I had.

Been thinking about going to a wider rim than the 17x7.5+53 bug sti rims I usually run but I like to see pics of other libs/legs with wider rims to give me an idea of what it'll look like.

Yea don't see a huge deal of gen 1's with 18's, mostly 17's.

Loving the chrome rear bumper step, wing and moulded mudflaps. Would love to find some for my rs wags.

Yeah I wanted to be different! but just have the consequence of a bit of scrub. I'd say it'd be rather rare in Australia, you'd have to look in Japan for those I reckon.

That's the idea It's pretty reliable and nice at the moment. But I would defiently like to get a Power FC and a tune. Then Sti short block and 6 speed eventually

Some of those parts come up for sale on the rare occasion but are usually big dollars or get sold pretty quick.
