Red face 92 Liberty RS Turbo (Original)

    Hey guys,

After a few months away with 'x' issues and not being able to post on here nor even work on my car, Im finally here haha

I bought my Liberty in July 2015 for $2k.
Complete stock except for a 3" dump pipe to 3" (3.5 maybe) exhaust, extremely loud, so had it decibel tested and its sitting on 94db on idle hahaha
FMIC (isnt mounted at all) and custom piping (absolute shocking job on how the previous owner had installed it, had to move piping around and install longer silicone hoses to suit better setup).
Moster tacho (wouldnt have a clue why....)
Boost gauge (sitting where the ashtray used to be)
Manual boost controller, increased to 10psi
    No window tint

When i bought it, it had:
    > An overheating problem.
    > An oil leak (found to be coming from cam seals).
    > Major rusting on the boot shelf, which has eaten away holes in the body and seals, and spot rust on the roof (minor), but somehow roof has slight small leak on drivers side and passangers side (think it from the A pillar on the exterior being raised a bit)

I drained the coolant and put the radiator out ( no thermostat :/ ) and got it compression tested, then found out the guy would do a free compression test on the whole car.
Raced back home, put the radiator and coolant back in. Ended up being a blocked inlet and outlet hose, cost me $30 bucks to get it re-drilled

Over the past few months, I resprayed the interior (medioca blue) and then resprayed it again with a different colour (sky blue - final colour choice now).
I have mounted 2 gauge pods, also resprayed, fitted with a volt meter and what will be oil pressure ( ALL GAUGES ARE DIGITAL).
Also started respraying the engine components to a much better colour.

I have also cut the front bar to show off the intercooler (will custom remake the centre to make it flow better)
Brand new Phillips 4300K headlight globes.
Installed bumper-fender clips (easier to take off bumper when you need to, better then cable ties)

I will eventually be rebuilding the engine with a new gasket kit, including a 1.3mm metal headgasket and ARP head studs, Mandrel bent intercooler piping and proper mounted FMIC.
Move the boost gauge from the ashtray to the A-pillar, which will be dressed with a black twin pod A-pillar, also housing a AFR gauge. Install the boost gauge pod (after resprayed) to the right side of the 2nd dash pod, to house an oil temp gauge. Install brighter white lights and blue dials in the cluster.

Ill eventually get around the removing the dash, door trim, etc, to be fleesed-fibreglassed-resprayed and accessory parts to be resprayed sky blue and fabric inserts on the doors to be re-trimmed a sky blue fabric (not sure on material just yet)

I have just found a really nice set of rims from Ozzy Tyres. Hussla HXR27 18x8.75 in Tiffany Blue. Will get them wrapped with a nice stretched set of tyres

You do what you want to do mate it's your car will admit it's not my style. Reminds of what people were doing to Suzuki GTI's in the 90's. Anyway, way I see it good to see another RS kept on the roads....

    Been here, done this!

Although my weapons of choice were cans of red and blue!

Happy individualising! Which is what it is all about.
