I thought the Navara was a SOHC Ben?

I saw a KA24DE engined Bluebird (whole car) sell at auction last week for $150+fees, was slightly accident damaged but the donk was fine. Keep an eye on pickles/damaged etc.

Is it the same engine? I wouldnt know anything about them.
Its for a flatmate, she doesnt like looking at thermostat gauges, and now has a 100% compression-free engine.

If a navara one fits stright bolt in no questions asked that would have to be the only way. Does anyone know anything about them?

Commercial 4WD engines are never straight bolt in to FWD pasenger cars. You'd be lucky if another U13 Bluebird engine that rolled off the factory 2 days after yours will 'bolt straight in'
Possibly the most overused phrase in the wrecker's yard handbook.

its not a project or anything! just a replace of the rooted one. So replacing the KE24 with the SR20 is automatically out. Im not an expert but i can imagine a similar level of mods as in a subaru convo, so the cost would go up, so it cant happen.
Im only trying to do a favour for someone, who is a bit down on luck. And is paying in beer.
